Heronwater has built a reputation for delivering quality residential schemes and a lot of our work comes through personal recommendation from previous architects and clients.
Heronwater Ltd was founded in 2001 and employs on site a mixture of direct labour – who work for the company all the year round - and specialist sub-contractors, who come in when required, integrate well with our permanent employees, and contribute to the high standard of finish required. In the office are directors Camber, Jose, Bill and Rob.
W2 – Basement and Ground Floor Maisonette
Here we stripped out all of the internal walls back to the existing steel structure, removed two chimney breasts and supported the three-storey structure above with new steelwork. We installed new damp-proofing systems, underground drainage, oak stair flight, oak and tiled floors, electrical power and lighting, plumbing and under-floor heating, fitted furniture (which was made on site and then sent away for a spray finish), three new bathrooms, general decoration, and landscape gardening.
W9 – Mews House
Here we demolished the entire building apart from the outside walls. We then rebuilt and raised the levels of three floors and roof terrace, with all attendant new finishes.
W11 – Refurbishment of five storey house
No extension in any direction for this late Victorian stuccoed terrace house. But completely re-plastered, damp-proofed, floors levelled, re-roofed and re-finished.
SW3 – Four-storey late Georgian Listed Building
Minor structural alterations. The finishes required a lot of attention to obtaining top quality finish without over-developing the tight space available.
W9 – Excavation of rear garden area to incorporate into new basement and ground floor flat
Change of use and our knowledge of the relevant taxation meant that VAT could be charged at 5%.
W11 – Mews House
Excavation to form double basement, structural alterations and rebuild of external brick elevations. Still in construction but at the finishes stage.
